[Remote] Business Consultant / Business Analyst - Saas

They are seeking a Business Consultant to join their Professional Services team, where the role involves translating business needs into effective software solutions and ensuring high-quality delivery and long-term product adoption.ResponsibilitiesLead customer workshops to gather, analyze, and prioritize business and functional requirementsCollaborate with Enterprise Solution Architect to produce the Business Blueprint and ensure solution design meets business needs, project constraints, and product visionDeliver elements of system design (data migration rules, business rules, prototypes, detailed specifications)Contribute to multiple projects in parallel, working closely with Project Managers and cross-functional teamsSupport development, QA, and UAT phases by defining requirements, acceptance criteria, and validating deliverablesAct as a subject matter expert, providing functional guidance to customers, partners, and internal teamsSupport Sales and Pre-Sales activities, including RFPs, RFIs, and solution demonstrationsSkills5+ years of experience as a Business Consultant delivering software solutionsStrong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)Knowledge of and experience in the use software design and modeling tools (e.g. UML etc.)Experience in requirements gathering, solution design, and stakeholder managementExcellent communication and documentation skillsAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teamsExperience in PLM and/or Food & Beverage /Chemical environments is a strong plusProfessional working proficiency in Italian languageProficient in English, both in written and verbal communicationBenefitsHealth, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off and company holidaysRetirement plan: 401(k)Full remote workingCompany OverviewTrace One develops SaaS based e-collaborative platform for private-label quality management.
