[Remote] Business Central Finance Functional Consultant

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Empiric is working with a leading organization to support the design and delivery of financial systems and processes, leveraging Dynamics 365 Business Central to drive efficiency, visibility, and control across the business. The Business Central Finance Functional Consultant will lead end-to-end implementations, optimize financial modules, and facilitate client workshops while managing the engagement lifecycle.ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end Dynamics 365 Business Central finance implementations for clients across multiple industriesRun discovery sessions, requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, and solution design independentlyLead finance solution design and system architecture within Dynamics 365 Business CentralConfigure and optimize core financial modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Bank Reconciliation, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Intercompany, Consolidations, and Financial ReportingTranslate complex accounting, reporting, and operational requirements into scalable ERP solutionsFacilitate client workshops and present solutions to CFO, Controller, Finance Director, and other senior finance stakeholdersPartner with finance teams to improve financial processes, reporting accuracy, visibility, and internal controlsManage User Acceptance Testing (UAT), end-user training, go-live support, and post-go-live stabilization activitiesAct as the primary client-facing consultant throughout the engagement lifecycleSupport full-cycle ERP implementations including discovery, design, configuration, testing, deployment, and go-liveSkills5+ years of Dynamics 365 Business Central and/or Dynamics NAV functional consulting experience with a strong finance focusProven ability to independently lead multiple full lifecycle Business Central implementationsStrong expertise across General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, Fixed Assets, and financial reportingExperience designing financial solutions within Dynamics 365 Business Central and/or NAVStrong stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills with experience working directly with CFO and Finance leadership teamsExperience with financial reporting tools, consolidations, and multi-entity environmentsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related fieldCPA or equivalent certification is preferredCompany OverviewEmpiric is a dynamic technology and transformation recruitment agency that specializes in data, digital, cloud and security services.
