[Remote] Business Application Administrator

They are seeking a Business Application Administrator to configure and maintain internal platforms, gather requirements, and provide user support to enhance operational efficiency.ResponsibilitiesConfigure and maintain projects, workflows, fields, templates, and system settings across internal platformsGather requirements with stakeholders and validate configuration requests against standards and business needsBuild and support forms, reports, dashboards, and merge templates to improve efficiencyPerform system configurations and data imports with a high level of accuracy and administrative oversightManage ongoing enhancement requests, including reporting updates, new fields, and configuration changesProvide user support, training, and documentation for system setup, reporting, and business processesAdminister user access, permissions, file structures, and demo/sales environmentsConduct testing, quality reviews, issue triage, and identify opportunities for workflow and system improvementsParticipate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and validate new features, releases, and system enhancementsEscalate software defects to development teams with clear documentation and reproducible test casesMonitor data and process integrity, partnering with PMO and Quality teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure compliance with standardsSkillsAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Project Management, GIS, Technology, or a related fieldβor equivalent practical experience2+ years in application administration, systems configuration, project or records coordination, software support, data management, or a closely related functionDemonstrated ability to administer and configure web-based business applications (e.g., HRIS, project, CRM, or records platforms)Exceptional attention to detail and data stewardship, with sound judgment when working in systems with administrative-level accessStrong requirements-gathering and facilitation skills; able to lead working sessions with project managers and cross-functional stakeholdersStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, working both independently and collaboratively across departmentsExperience with reporting and business-intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI) and/or data platforms (e.g., Snowflake)Familiarity with relational databases, GIS systems, project-management platforms, or compliance-tracking systemsExperience configuring SaaS or enterprise platforms (e.g., HRIS or CRM administration)Exposure to user-access governance and file-management / permissions administrationBenefitsHealth, dental, and vision benefits401(k) with company match and disability coveragePaid time off, sick time, and holidaysTuition reimbursement and professional trainingRecognition programs and growth opportunitiesClassPass and Breethe MembershipsCompany OverviewSince 1969, ORC has been a leading ROW service provider for public agencies, utilities, and energy clients, driving responsible infrastructure progress nationwide.
