The Business and Financial Analyst will manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for a major program, ensuring financial health and performance while collaborating with various stakeholders.ResponsibilitiesLead the preparation of cost proposals, ensuring compliance with solicitation requirements and company guidelinesDevelop cost structures and pricing strategies in collaboration with Proposal Managers, providing recommendations to optimize profitabilityConduct detailed profitability analyses for fixed-price and fixed-labor rate proposals, identifying risks and opportunities for improvementIndependently monitor project budgets using the companyβs Forecast Tool (TM1), ensuring accuracy and adherence to financial guidelinesAnalyze budget forecasts to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions to maintain alignment with project goalsLead quarterly forecasting cycles for assigned programs and indirect budgets, ensuring timely completion and accuracyPrepare and review monthly financial reports, ensuring data accuracy and clarity for management decision-makingContribute to company-wide financial reporting activities, including Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Revenue/Fee Recognition Reports, Limitation of Funds Reports, and Project Loss ReportsCollaborate with Program Managers, Procurement, and Human Resources to optimize personnel utilization and non-labor cost forecastingProvide actionable recommendations to address personnel over/under-utilization and ensure efficient resource allocationDevelop accurate non-labor forecasts by analyzing procurement decisions and associated time-phasing projectionsAct as a liaison between technical teams, financial operations, and other departments to ensure alignment on project goals and financial objectivesSupport Division Lead Business Analysts in divisional revenue forecast processes, ensuring responsiveness to vetting actions and deadlinesLead small teams on lower-complexity project activities, providing guidance and support to ensure successful completionMentor junior staff members, fostering their development and understanding of financial principles and practicesSkillsBachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field2+ years of relevant experience or equivalent work experienceProficiency in financial principles, concepts, and tools, with the ability to apply them to moderately complex assignmentsAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, with experience in creating and analyzing complex spreadsheetsExperience in a government contracting environment or familiarity with DoD regulationsKnowledge of cost proposal development and financial forecasting tools (e.g., TM1)Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independentlyEffective communication and collaboration abilities, with a professional demeanorDemonstrated ability to lead small teams and manage lower-complexity project activitiesBenefitsCompetitive salary and benefits package.Although our work at CTC is extremely important, we also recognize the need for our employees to maintain a proper mix of work and personal life.CTC offers exceptional career growth, cutting edge technology, educational opportunities, and recognition for quality work.Company OverviewConcurrent Technologies Corporation (CTC) was first known as Metalworking Technology Inc., (MTI), a subsidiary of the University of It was founded in 1986, and is headquartered in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, USA, with a workforce of 201-500 employees.
