[Remote] Business Analyst/Technical Writer

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. LTS is seeking a Business Analyst/Technical Writer to join our team and support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Health Portfolio. The role involves gathering and analyzing business requirements, creating technical documentation, and collaborating with teams to ensure the delivery of quality IT projects for Veterans and healthcare providers.ResponsibilitiesAble to function as subject matter expert in order to collect complete and accurate business requirements from business SMEs by means of interviews, workflow analysis, and facilitated discussionsUnderstand the client’s business issues and challengesTranslate users' business needs into detailed epics, user stories, and requirementsAnalyze, review, and document the requirements of a project throughout the lifecycleComplete functional analysis of requirements as neededConduct research, analyze information needs, and perform analysis to support the delivery of relevant artifacts including business process diagrams, reports, and presentationsCreate and present functional and technical requirements to business and IT teams and write user stories and acceptance criteriaDiscover functional dependencies and help make recommendations on system/business solutions to mitigate riskWork as a team player and leader in order to effectively coordinate across functional teamsAbility to create a framework by which development and testing can be validatedCreate clear and accessible technical documentation (plain language) by using straightforward language, ensuring that complex information is easily understood.
