[Remote] Business Analyst (Temporary Contract)

They are seeking a Business Analyst who will support requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder alignment to help translate user needs and business requirements into actionable product requirements.ResponsibilitiesSupport the creation and refinement of user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog itemsHelp translate business needs into actionable product and technical requirementsAssist in maintaining a clear, prioritized backlog that reflects team goalsAssist in system configurations, in collaboration with ArchitectsPartner with cross functional collaborators to build shared understanding of requirements and prioritiesParticipate in discussions, workshops, and reviews to ensure alignmentDocument decisions, open questions, and follow ups to keep stakeholders informedHelp prepare sprint materials including backlog reviews, refinement notes, and sprint planning assetsClarify requirements during development and ensure work aligns to acceptance criteriaParticipate in or attend UAT testing and validation activities before releaseContribute to updates, summaries, and progress reports for internal and external audiencesMaintain clear documentation to ensure traceability and transparencySurface risks or blockers early and help drive resolutionFoster a learning culture by experimenting with new ways of workingObserve patterns in workflows or communication and suggest improvementsSeek out feedback and coaching to build product ownership skillsSkillsProven experience as a Business AnalystStrong experience managing and prioritizing product backlogsAbility to write clear, detailed, and well-structured user storiesExperience refining user stories and working closely with engineering teams during grooming sessionsAttention to detail and comfort documenting requirementsAbility to adapt to changing priorities and work with ambiguityOpenness to feedback and enthusiasm for growthExcellent communication skillsAgile frameworks and terminology, such as sprints, backlog refinement, and retrospectivesExperience with Azure DevOps for backlog creationTools such as Confluence, Miro, Figma, or product analytics platformsExperience in the financial services industryExperience working on fixed-price / fixed-scope projectsExperience working with ContentstackCompany OverviewValtech is the experience innovation company.
