[Remote] Business Analyst Level 3
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Compu-Vision Consulting Inc. is seeking a Business Analyst Level 3 to support core organizational functions and business processes. The role involves planning, designing, developing, and launching efficient business systems while gathering and analyzing data to support business cases and systems requirements.ResponsibilitiesThe Security Coordinator will guide Application Support Analysts who will assist in the mechanics of the security assignmentsThe Security Coordinator will establish ownership of each security class defined by the security workgroup, ensure access is limited to authorized users and ensure authorized users have access to only that which is necessary to perform their job functionWith assistance from the Application Support Analysts the Security Coordinator will map users to specific security templatesThe Security Coordinator creates processes to grant access to new employees, remove access from terminated employees and modify access when job roles change. These procedures should include steps by which users can receive login authorization, procedures should include steps by which users can receive login authorization, passwords, and training on proper system securityThe Security Coordinator will develop procedures to establish new security roles, to include a review and approval process for the requested modificationThe Security Coordinator will work closely with technical teams and applications analysts to develop a firm understanding of infrastructure security and templates and will possess or develop a working knowledge of clinical roles to better match security templates with clinical job functionsThe Security Coordinator will map key data elements to the Provider Records based on provider typesThe Security Coordinator will be required to run daily, weekly and monthly audit reportsThe Security Coordinator will be required to process incoming and outgoing files pertaining to both EMP and SER databasesThe Security Coordinator will provide level 2 support for both Epic and non-Epic data security ticketsThe Security Coordinator will also be asked to assist in other data security activities as needed by the Data Security ManagerThe Security Coordinator will need to be able to process large amount of Provider and user data accurately and in a specified length of timeOwn the functional requirements link between the customer, development team and any third party regarding software functionality, throughout the development lifecycleCollecting, understanding, and transmitting the business requirements for the project, and translating these into functional specifications and detailed test plansEnsures issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely mannerCommunicates needed changes to development teamPossesses understanding in the areas of application programming, database and system designAssists in enforcement of project deadlines and schedulesCommunicates and applies project standardsManages resources in accordance with project scheduleWeekly reports to be produced for the project manager showing progress against outstanding milestones, status, resource requirements, issues, risks and dependenciesDay to day management of change requests in relation to the project plans to ensure agreed deadlines are metFacilitates the scheduling and arrangement of meetings and workshops necessary to keep the project moving alongDelivers informative, well-organized presentationsUnderstands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfullyAnalyze and document business processesDocument workflows and results of business analysis and obtain sign-off from client on the specificationsSkillsA Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, applied Mathematics, Business Administration, Economics/Statistics, Telecommunications, Data Communications, or a related field of studyFive (5) years of progressive, responsible experience in the field of data processing, computer systems, and applicationsOperations Specialty requires supervisory experience (5 years)Network Services requires a telecommunications background and experienceBroad knowledge and expertise in the characteristics of computers, peripheral devices, communications systems and hardware capabilities, programming languages, E.D.P. applications, systems analysis methodology, data management and retrieval techniquesCompany OverviewCompu-Vision Consulting Inc. is a dynamic IT consulting enterprise.
