Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Velosio is looking for a Business Analyst to join their Customer Engagement and Apps & Automate team. The BA will be responsible for translating business needs into clear requirements, leading requirements gathering sessions, and ensuring successful outcomes across Dynamics 365 and Power Platform implementations.ResponsibilitiesLead requirements gathering sessions with clients and internal stakeholdersWork with Lead Functional Consultants to translate business needs into clear, structured functional requirementsDevelop:Business process flowsDetailed use casesUser stories with acceptance criteriaEnsure all requirements are complete, testable, and traceableServe as a core contributor during Analysis & Design (A&D)Produce build-ready backlog aligned to approved scopePartner with Lead Functional Consultants and Solution Architects to:Validate solution designEnsure feasibility and alignment to requirementsDrive requirements sign-off and traceabilityOwn and maintain the functional backlog throughout deliveryEnsure all backlog items:Tie directly to approved requirementsInclude clear acceptance criteriaAre ready for development without ambiguityReview and approve backlog items prior to buildPerform unit testing and functional validation of developed solutionsEnsure delivered functionality aligns with:Documented requirementsDefined use casesAcceptance criteriaSupport UAT preparation and issue triageLead requirements definition for:Change orders (COs)Work orders (WOs)Ensure new scope is:Clearly defined and documentedEstimated accuratelyApproved before build beginsWork closely with:Functional ConsultantsTechnical Consultants / DevelopersProject ManagersPractice LeadershipAct as the bridge between business stakeholders and delivery teamsSkills3-7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in consulting or technology deliveryExperience with Dynamics 365 CE (Sales, Customer Service, Field Service) and Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse)Strong experience in requirements gatheringUser story creationBacklog management (Azure DevOps or similar)Proven ability to create clear, structured, and actionable documentationExperience working in consulting/professional services environmentsFamiliarity with Agile / Scrum delivery methodologiesExposure to AI/Copilot or modern Power Platform capabilitiesExperience supporting A&D or discovery phases of implementationsExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilitiesStrong organizational and multi-tasking skillsTime management skills with the ability to meet deadlinesExceptional verbal, written, and presentation skillsAbility to work effectively both independently and as part of a teamBenefits3 Medical Insurance options with a company contribution to HSA3 Dental Insurance options including adult orthodontics3 Vision Insurance optionsUnlimited PTO (UPTO)Remote working environment401k Match 50% of the first 6%StayWell Program - a cash reimbursement up to $600 a year toward WellnessCompany OverviewVelosio formed by combining SBS Group and Socius.
