[Remote] Business Analyst

The Business Analyst will work with the Product team to evaluate opportunities, document requirements, and support product development by ensuring a clear understanding of operational needs and data-driven decisions.ResponsibilitiesAnalyze business performance, operational workflows, and current product experience to identify opportunities for improvement across products and internal processesTranslate ambiguous business questions into structured analyses, clear insights, and actionable recommendationsSupport product development by producing clear requirements documentation (e.g., business requirements documents, process flow diagrams, gap analyses, acceptance criteria) grounded in operational reality and user needsUse SQL for ad-hoc analysis to support product launches and answer recurring business questions, partnering with the Analytics team on deeper investigationsPartner with the Analytics team to define success metrics and surface insights for product launches and operational initiativesEnsure data outputs are accurate, well-documented, and easy for stakeholders to understand and use in decision-makingPartner with data, engineering, and analytics stakeholders to improve data quality, definitions, and accessibilityLead discovery efforts, including stakeholder interviews and current-state workflow mapping, to deeply understand operational workflows, pain points, and gaps where the product can better support the operations team and end usersSynthesize qualitative and quantitative insights into clear narratives that align teams around the 'why' behind decisionsCollaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and operations partners to ensure insights and requirements are understood, prioritized, and implemented effectivelyContinuously surface business insights across the organization to inform strategy, prioritization, and executionMeasure the impact of product, operational, and partnership initiatives and communicate results to stakeholdersIdentify and pilot opportunities to leverage AI and automation tools to improve analytical workflows and team productivityContribute to improving business analysis practices, tools, and standards within the Product teamSkillsBS/BA degree or higher2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, Product Analyst, or similar role, ideally bridging operations and product teamsProven ability to break down complex systems and processes into measurable componentsProven ability to translate business needs into clear documented requirements, process flows, and gap analysesExperience leading discovery, stakeholder interviews, and current-state workflow mappingComfortable writing SQL for ad-hoc analysisFamiliarity with BI tools (e.g. Metabase, Omni, Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or similar) preferredFamiliarity with software development processes and product management methodologies (e.g. Agile)Experience using AI tools for productivityStrong analytical thinking, data interpretation, and problem-solving skillsCurious mindset with a bias toward learning and continuous improvementAbility to communicate complex data and insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiencesComfortable working cross-functionally and navigating ambiguityReliable, persistent, and results-orientedHighly organized with strong time-management skillsEasy to work with; collaborative, transparent, and high-integrityMust be able to pass a background checkFamiliarity with software development processes and product management methodologies (e.g. Agile)Experience in healthcare operations, care delivery, or clinical workflow environments is strongly preferredBenefitsCompetitive salary and benefits packageOpportunities for professional growth and developmentCollaborative and dynamic work environmentFlexible work arrangements and remote work optionsAccess to cutting-edge technologies and toolsCompany OverviewCeresti offers an education, coaching, and support program that makes it easier to navigate the challenges of being a family caregiver.
