[Remote] Business Analyst

This role will involve defining and validating data feeds, coordinating between Financial Institutions and internal teams, and improving onboarding processes for scalable solutions.ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary technology liaison for Financial Institutions during ATM outsourcing onboardingLead discovery sessions to identify required data feeds forATM transaction forecastingSettlement and reconciliationCash management reporting and operational analyticsDispute and chargeback managementDocument detailed business requirements, data specifications, file formats, and delivery methods (SFTP, API, batch files), mapping logic, and transmission schedulesOversee ingestion and validation of data feeds to ensure completeness, accuracy, and operational readinessIdentify data gaps, discrepancies, and process risks, drive resolution with internal and external stakeholdersSupport reconciliation and settlement processes and assist with root-cause analysis of variancesPartner with dispute and chargeback teams to ensure proper transaction mapping and reporting accuracyDevelop and maintain onboarding playbooks, standard operating procedures, data specifications, and documentation templatesTranslate business needs into user stories, process maps, and functional requirements for Product EngineeringIdentify automation opportunities to improve onboarding timelines, scalability, and data validation controlsDrive continuous improvement initiatives that reduce manual effort and enhance operational transparencyCollect requirements, timelines, outcomes, and cost justifications, and using those work products, produce capital expenditure requests and push them through the delegation of authority processesSkills7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within financial services, banking, payments, or fintech environmentsUnderstanding of financial transaction processing, reconciliation workflows, and dispute/chargeback operationsExperience working directly with Financial Institutions in a regulated environmentAbility to translate business needs into clear functional and technical requirementsAnalytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detailEffective communicator using both verbal and written communication across technical and non-technical audiencesAbility to drive alignment across diverse stakeholder groups and navigate conflicting prioritiesUnderstanding of iterative development methodologies and working within Agile frameworksAbility to match technology capabilities to business value while understanding operational and compliance risksComfort operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with evolving prioritiesAbility to produce documentation, specifications, cost justifications, business cases, authorization requests, and other general supporting documentationTechnically minded with a desire to see systems (strong Systems Thinker)Bachelor's degree in business, finance, information systems, computer science, or related fieldBrinks does not offer Visa sponsorship for the Business Analyst role3+ years of experience gathering and documenting business and data requirementsExperience supporting data integrations involving SFTP, APIs, or structured flat filesExperience working cross-functionally with Operations and Engineering teamsDemonstrated experience managing multiple initiatives simultaneously while meeting deadlinesDocumented track record of improving business processes or onboarding efficiencyKnowledge of Microsoft Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPointExperience with project management tools such as ClickUp, Jira, Microsoft Project, or similar platformsFamiliarity with data analysis tools and basic SQL is preferredAbility to create process diagrams and documentation using tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, Miro, or similarCompany OverviewThe Brink’s Company (NYSE:BCO) is a leading global provider of cash and valuables management, digital retail solutions (DRS), and ATM managed services (AMS).
