Remote Bookkeeper — Position Overview Join our flexible and efficient team as a Remote Bookkeeper, supporting our company's financial management and daily accounting operations. This role is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, enjoy organizing financial records, and wish to work from home. You will assist in recording transactions, reconciling accounts, and generating basic financial reports to support the company's financial operations. Responsibilities Utilize accounting software to process daily financial transactions, ensuring the accuracy of all records. Assist with account reconciliation and general ledger verification, identifying and resolving minor discrepancies. Enter journal entries, perform basic account analysis, and maintain organized financial records. Assist with accounts receivable and accounts payable tasks, including invoice recording and payment follow-ups. Assist with basic payroll processing and tax-related administrative tasks. Requirements Some prior experience in bookkeeping or accounting is required, along with an understanding of basic financial concepts (e.g., double-entry bookkeeping, general ledger maintenance). Familiarity with payroll or tax processing is a plus, though not strictly required. Highly detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously. Comfortable working independently in a remote environment while maintaining high levels of efficiency and productivity.
