Position Overview: You’ll work directly with firm partners and senior CPAs to support year-end bookkeeping, monthly closes, and individual and business tax return preparation. Ideal for professionals who want flexibility and the ability to contribute meaningful work in a remote capacity. Responsibilities • Prepare and review individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns (1040, 1065, 1120, 1120S). • Perform monthly reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting. • Communicate with clients and internal teams to ensure timely tax filings. • Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar). • Maintain high attention to detail under tight deadlines. Requirements • 2+ years in public accounting or tax preparation (required). • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and tax code. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines. • Strong communication skills and proficiency in cloud-based accounting platforms. Nice-to-haves • CPA designation or progress toward CPA is a strong plus.
