Job Overview
Position: Remote Bookkeeper/Tax Planner
Location: Remote (Work from Home)
Schedule: Flexible, Monday to Friday, with a requirement to be located in EST or CST time zones
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities
Manage financial records of multiple clients using QuickBooks Online
Record daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
Reconcile bank and credit card statements to ensure accuracy
Generate financial reports and summaries for client review
Collaborate with tax professionals to ensure accurate financial data for tax preparation
Provide exceptional customer service to clients, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly
Requirements
Proven experience as a bookkeeper, preferably in a remote or virtual environment
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and a strong understanding of accounting principles
Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy in financial data entry
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to manage multiple clients and tasks concurrently
Prior experience in a tax firm or accounting firm is a plus
