Job Overview

We are seeking a meticulous and trustworthy Bookkeeper to become a vital part of our dynamic team. This position involves managing finance and accounting functions for a variety of clients, with opportunities for internal project involvement as well. You will engage collaboratively with diverse stakeholders across multiple industries while handling various high-priority tasks regularly.

Key Responsibilities
• Initially, you will familiarize yourself with our team and operational workflows.
• Contribute to general bookkeeping, reporting, and payroll activities.
• Participate in weekly meetings with your manager to ensure seamless operations.
• As you acclimate, you will take on increased responsibilities, including:
• Supporting month-end closing processes.
• Overseeing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Managing bank account and credit card reconciliations.

Required Skills
• Strong independent work ethic and reliability.
• Practical experience in bookkeeping.
• Fundamental knowledge of accounting principles.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong organizational and data analysis skills.
• Proficiency in adhering to established protocols and workflows.
• Experience with QuickBooks Online and/or Xero is essential.

Qualifications
• Demonstrated experience in bookkeeping is a must.
• Familiarity with managing a client account portfolio is advantageous.
• Certification in bookkeeping or accounting is a plus, though not mandatory.
