They are seeking a CRE Systems Engineering Manager to oversee a team responsible for monitoring system platforms and IT operations, ensuring software design requirements are met and efficiency is improved.ResponsibilitiesProvide formal supervision to employeesMonitor the training and development of staffConduct performance evaluations and coachingOversee the recruiting and hiring of new employeesCoordinate and manage the team's daily activitiesEstablish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staffSet and track staff and department deadlinesMentor and coach as neededTake ownership of product integrity, process adherence, staffing, training, and toolsMonitor, track, and report on the engineering schedule, key performance indicators, and any changes to scopeSupport the development and improvement of product development processes, project management tools, and techniques to ensure the delivery of safe and high-quality systemsImplement operating policies, processes, and procedures for the teamMeasure, review, and report progress against business metrics and initiatives defined in the business planWork closely with internal operations teams and external vendors in designing and managing the company’s core infrastructure platforms, systems, and servicesLead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE valuesInfluence parties of shared interests to reach an agreementApply knowledge of own discipline and how own discipline integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectivesIdentify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues that may or may not be evident in existing systems and processesSkillsBachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be consideredExperience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferredAbility to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations, and handle problemsLeadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and departmentIn-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
