[Remote] Billing Specialist

They are seeking a Billing Specialist to manage invoice reconciliation, vendor budgets, and maintain relationships with media vendors while collaborating with various teams within the firm. Responsibilities Invoice reconciliation Monitor vendor budgets Make sure vendors adhere to guidelines Creating and issuing credit memos Resolve issues and build strong relationships with media vendors Collaborate through building and maintaining productive relationships across all teams, internal and external, and push for ongoing growth Research missing and unresolved payment issues Escalate any reconciliation issues to the appropriate internal team Build and update internal reports Generate Traffic Instructions contingent on rotations received from creative team Distribute Traffic Instructions to all vendors across all media types Communicate with production team to ensure spot delivery Monitor and track Traffic confirmations for all vendors Skills Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail Must demonstrate effective time management and organizational skills Solid work ethic with self-motivation needed to exceed expectations Ability to prioritize projects and meet deadlines Problem solving mentality and strategic thinking capabilities Written and verbal communication skills in various settings Adaptability Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proactiveness and strong sense of ownership Ability to work independently and make sound judgment Strong proficiency with Microsoft products ie: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Strong proficiency with Google Workspace ie: Google Meet, Docs, Sheets, Forms, and Slides Experience using Freewheel/Strata preferred Organizational, communication, and analytical skills Media Related experience Accounting experience Accounts Receivable experience Strata/Freewheels Traffic experience Benefits Full medical benefits (including dental & vision) Extensive 401(k) plan with company matching for contributions Commuter benefits Paid time off Paid holidays Company Overview John Morgan became a lawyer with a simple mission: To fight for the people, and not the powerful.
