[Remote] Billing and Revenue Analyst

The Billing & Revenue Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the full billing and revenue lifecycle, ensuring accurate invoicing and compliant revenue recognition.ResponsibilitiesPrepare, review, and issue accurate invoices across subscription, appraisal, and implementation revenue streamsValidate billing details against signed customer contractsMaintain recurring billing schedules, manage renewals, and ensure timely, accurate billing cyclesSupport monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue close activities, including journal entriesMaintain and reconcile deferred revenue schedulesPerform monthly reconciliations of revenue accounts and investigate variancesSupport analyses of ARR/MRR movement, churn, expansions, and contract modificationsIdentify opportunities to streamline and automate billing and revenue processes to improve accuracy and scalabilityContribute to financial systems improvements and process enhancements tied to PE‑driven growth initiatives (e.g., workflow automation, reporting visibility)Collaborate closely with the broader Finance & Accounting team to ensure timely close and accurate internal reportingPrepare audit schedules and support internal and external audit requestsRespond to customer billing inquiries professionally and accuratelySkillsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field2–4+ years of experience in billing, revenue operations, or accountingStrong understanding of SaaS subscription models, contract billing, and revenue processesProficient in Excel (pivot tables, lookups) with strong analytical skillsHigh attention to detail and strong problem‑solving abilitiesExcellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across departmentsExperience in a PE‑backed, high‑growth SaaS environment preferredHands‑on experience with ERP, CRM, or billing platforms (e.g., NetSuite, Salesforce)BenefitsPaid time off (PTO)An attractive employee health insurance planA 401k planCompany OverviewSince 1975, Vision Government Solutions has been providing the highest quality Appraisal Services and CAMA Software in the industry to assessing departments located throughout the United States.
