[Remote] Billing Administrator, WMS

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Shermco Industries is seeking a Billing Administrator for their Wind & Motor Services Division. The Billing Administrator is responsible for performing data entry, preparing bills, invoices, and account statements, and providing billing support to customers and Project Managers.ResponsibilitiesCalculate, prepare and issue documents related to accounts such as bills, invoices, account statements and other financial statementsCompile budget data and documents based on estimated revenues and expenses and previous budgetsPrepare period or cost statements or reportsRespond to customer inquiries, maintain good customer relations and solve problemsPerform related clerical duties, such as word processing, maintaining filing and record systems, faxing and photocopyingPerforms billing duties including preparation of billingsResponsible for accurate and timely preparation of billing invoicesServe as a primary customer contact for billingsMaintain appropriate files and documentsRecommend payment arrangements for unpaid customer balancesProduce reports, letters, and other correspondence, as neededPost billing data to profit/loss reports, balance sheets, income statements, and other documentationGather appropriate information for billing purposes, as necessaryPerform other duties as assignedSkillsPost-secondary education in Accounting/Business Administration considered an assetEnrollment in the CPA program would be considered an assetA combination of education and experience will be consideredSeveral years of experience in a billing/accounts payable/receivable role in service or manufacturing industries would be preferred but not requiredThorough understanding of general accounting practicesGeneral working knowledge of provincial and federal sales taxes (RST/PST/GST)Working knowledge of accounting ERP systemsExperience with Microsoft Office applicationsMust be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and periodic, unannounced random drug testsMust be able to pass a pre-employment criminal background checkAll offers are conditioned on acceptable results from a background check and drug and alcohol screeningMust be able to read, write, and speak English fluentlyWilling to travel as neededAbility to use hands and fingers on a keyboard and use a mouseAbility to clearly see and view the details of words, tables and images on a computer screen for long periods of timeSeveral years of experience in a billing/accounts payable/receivable role in service or manufacturing industries would be preferred but not requiredBusiness Central or Navision experience considered an assetCompany OverviewShermco Industries provides testing, repair, and maintenance of electrical infrastructure.
