The Opportunity As a Remote Bilingual Therapist, you will work with clients suffering from anxiety, depression, grief and loss, loneliness, life transition, medication/pain management, and end-of-life planning. You will provide virtual individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing psychotherapy and evidence-based approaches to improve outcomes. This is a part-time or full-time remote position, with flexible scheduling options, including Monday-Friday and weekend availability. Key Responsibilities: Provide virtual individual and group therapy sessions to seniors Utilize psychotherapy and evidence-based approaches, such as CBT, DBT, and solution-focused approaches, to improve client outcomes Work with clients suffering from anxiety, depression, grief and loss, loneliness, life transition, medication/pain management, and end-of-life planning Develop and maintain a caseload of clients, ensuring high-quality services and effective communication Collaborate with the Total Life team to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and research in mental health and aging Requirements Essential Qualifications: Valid Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Professional Counselor (LPC), or Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) license in the state of Michigan Fluent in English and Spanish At least two years of clinical experience, post-licensure, conducting psychotherapy utilizing CBT, DBT, and other solution-focused approaches Experience working with clients aged 65+ Possess and provide proof of professional liability insurance/malpractice insurance, with a minimum claim limit of $1,000,000 and aggregate limit of $3,000,000 Active NPI number Available to start with a minimum of 5 hours per week Comfortable utilizing technology and providing teletherapy Preferred Qualifications: Existing credentialing with Medicare CAQH credentialing already set up Skills and Competencies To succeed as a Remote Bilingual Therapist, you will need: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong clinical skills, with experience working with seniors and utilizing evidence-based approaches Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a remote team Strong organizational and time management skills, with ability to manage a caseload and prioritize tasks Proficiency in technology, including video conferencing software and electronic health records Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Total Life, we're committed to supporting the growth and development of our team members.
