The role involves providing exceptional customer service to brokers and agents, addressing inquiries, and collaborating with the Sales Operations Management team on service-related projects.ResponsibilitiesProvides high quality on-line and telephone assistance to all customers including brokers/agent and their uplinesProvides high quality handling of customer inquiries, via mail, e-mail and chat sessionsResolves inquiries and issues relating to all aspects of broker/ agent business:Broker/Agent questions and issues regarding member eligibility, benefits, claims process, as well as product questions and various other customer support functionsBroker/Agent questions and issues regarding onboarding, recertification and commissionsMakes recommendations to management concerning problems, problem trends and process improvementMaintains an open exchange of information with internal and external customersWorks with the Quality Assurance team to understand, track and trend quality performance issuesWorks a flexible schedule including a late shift and weekends, and as needed during the Annual Open Enrollment Period, Open Enrollment Period and during unforeseen business disruptionsAdditional duties as necessarySkillsHigh school diploma or GED from an accredited institutionExperience providing quality service across a broad range of business topicsTelephonic customer service experience including handling of escalated callsWorks a flexible schedule including a late shift and weekends, and as needed during the Annual Open Enrollment Period, Open Enrollment Period and during unforeseen business disruptionsWorking experience with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and OutlookConflict resolution experienceExperience handling complex situations and/or projectsHealthcare industry experienceBenefitsMedical, dental and vision coverageIncentive and recognition programsLife insurance401k contributions (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements)Company OverviewHealthfirst is a health insurer providing medical, business, and health insurance services.
