You will utilize your excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to address customer concerns, provide account maintenance, and educate customers on online state registration requirements. Key Responsibilities:
Respond to customer telephone calls, addressing account maintenance, refund inquiries, and password resets
Provide knowledgeable and accurate information on tax laws, policies, and procedures
Assist customers with online self-service functions through the Georgia Tax Center
Maintain a working knowledge of current tax laws, policies, and procedures
Utilize technology to provide advanced support and resolve customer issues efficiently
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED
Six months of call center experience handling customer inquiries and issues
Ability to pass a criminal background check
Ability to obtain a Tax Clearance Letter stating that you do not owe any state taxes
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a high-volume contact service environment
Bilingual in Spanish or a second language, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
