[Remote] Benefits Analyst (Contract, Remote)

They are seeking a Benefits Analyst Contractor to provide project support within their Client Success team, focusing on data management, compliance documentation, and operational workflows.ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain renewal workbooks, including spreadsheeting, data validation, and rate modelingSupport benchmarking, plan design analysis, and other financial and strategic projectsDraft benefit communications and compliance-related documentation (e.g., ERISA Wraps, SPDs, SBCs)Prepare open enrollment materials, employee communications, and benefit overviewsSupport eligibility and benefits administration workflows across systems such as UKG, Employee Navigator, Gusto, Rippling, Paylocity, and ADPExecute core eligibility tasks including processing enrollments and terminations, troubleshooting system errors, ordering ID cards, and managing OE changesAssist with audits, census builds, data gathering, and maintaining accuracy across ben admin systemsPrepare snapshots, legal notices, and other recurring client deliverablesConduct peer reviews and quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency across deliverablesSupport ad hoc benefits projects across the team as neededSkills3–10 years of experience in a benefits analyst, account manager or similar role within a benefits brokerage or consulting environment requiredFamiliarity with large group plans (100–5,000 MELs), California and New York market experience a plusStrong Excel skills and the ability to work comfortably in Google SuiteExperience drafting benefits-related documents such as SPD/SBCs, ERISA Wraps, and enrollment materials in both languagesUnderstanding of financial structures such as fully insured, level-funded, self-funded, and captive plansDetail-oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership and follow-throughAvailability to commit to 35-40 hour/week contract positionProfessional fluency in Spanish and English (written and verbal) a plusBenefitsHealth & Wellness: Medical insurance, including a $0 premium HDHP plan for individuals, Dental, Vision, Telehealth and Virtual Primary Care Visits, OneMedical membership, Wellhub, and a $50 monthly benefit to improve your mental or physical health.Financial Support: Stock options, 401(k) with a $2,000 match, FSA, HSA, and access to Origin Financial.Work-Life: Flexible PTO, 12 weeks of paid parental leave with 2 weeks of transition time, $50 monthly connectivity reimbursement, and company-paid short-term disability, long-term disability, and life insurance, with additional voluntary benefits like supplemental life, AD&D, hospital indemnity, accident, and critical illness coverage.Professional Support: $1,000 home office setup stipend and access to an Employee Assistance Program (EAP)Please note: The benefits below apply to full-time (W2) employees and are not included for contractor roles.Company OverviewWe’re on a mission to fix healthcare, starting with the 150 million Americans who rely on their employer for coverage.
