[Remote] Benefits Administrator

They are seeking a Benefits Administrator to manage employee benefit programs, support payroll processes, and enhance employee experiences within the People team.ResponsibilitiesAdminister employee benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, HSA/FSA, 401(k), and voluntary benefitsManage benefit enrollments, qualifying life events, terminations, and annual open enrollment activitiesMaintain accurate employee benefit records, payroll deductions, and eligibility data within RipplingServe as the primary point of contact for employee benefits questions, carrier issues, and claims escalationsPartner with brokers, carriers, and vendors to support benefit administration, renewals, and issue resolutionSupport benefits compliance activities, including ACA reporting, COBRA administration, audits, and required employee noticesReconcile carrier invoices, maintain documentation, and assist with benefits reporting and data analysisIdentify opportunities to improve benefits processes, employee experience, and operational efficiencyProvide backup payroll support as needed, including assisting with payroll processing, reviewing prorated deductions, and validating STD, LTD, and leave-related pay calculationsSupport additional People Operations initiatives and projects as neededSkills3+ years of employee benefits administration experienceStrong knowledge of state leave & disability insurance programsExperience working with Rippling HRIS and payroll systemStrong understanding of benefits compliance requirementsExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretionExperience in a startup or high-growth environmentSHRM-CP, PHR, CEBS, or related certificationBenefitsFull remote flexibility and asynchronous work cultureUnlimited PTO and fully paid sick leaveComprehensive health benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, plus HSA and FSA optionsAdditional financial protection and retirement benefits, including a 401(k), company-paid life insurance, and disability coverageA high degree of ownership, autonomy, and the opportunity to help build and shape a growing companyThe chance to make a meaningful impact while working alongside an ambitious, high-performing teamExposure to the challenges and opportunities of a fast-growing startup environmentEmployees in this position are eligible to participate in Ledgebrook’s equity incentive programCompany OverviewModernizing Speciality Insurance It was founded in 2022, and is headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts, USA, with a workforce of 51-200 employees.
