They are seeking a Benefits Account Executive to assist in all benefits department functions, develop client relationships, and provide outstanding customer service while managing corporate benefit plans and programs.ResponsibilitiesMeet with clients, discuss benefit options, solicit quotes, present alternatives, conduct open enrollment, lead through the underwriting processResearches, analyzes, and evaluates, corporate benefit plans and programsMonitors benefit trends in the business environment and must stay abreast of applicable benefits legislationAn expert in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goalsPerforms a variety of complicated tasksMay lead and direct the work of othersA wide degree of creativity and latitude is expectedProvides benefits consulting services to employers ranging from 2 to 10,000 employees in metropolitan marketsManagement of renewal cycle and client servicing with key departmentsLocal travel and annual open enrollment meetings conducted out-of-state for clientsMaintain strong relationships with small group and mid-market sales representatives and account executives from all majorLines of coverage to include Medical, Dental, Life/AD&D, Voluntary Life/AD&D, Short and Long Term Disability, Vision, Supplemental, GAP, etcExcellent platform skills used to conduct carrier meetings when neededOrganize Health FairsAbility to communicate effectively with small and large businessesAbility to make presentations to large and small groupsMust be able to travel up to 25% of the time, possibly more during open enrollment periodsSkillsHigh school diploma or equivalent is requiredAt least 5 years of experience of benefit-related experience is requiredLife and Health license requiredMust complete ACA certification within 18 monthsProficiency in Microsoft Office applicationsBachelor's degree is a plusExperience with multiple plans is preferredPrevious PEO experience is preferredBilingual (English/Spanish) is a plusBenefitsHealth benefits401(k)Recognition awards and bonusesCommissionsAnnual bonusesProgram specific rewardsHealthDentalVisionLife insuranceShort-term and long-term disabilityFlexible spendingAncillary benefitsRetirement savings planPaid holidaysPaid time off (PTO)Company OverviewG&A Partners is a licensed professional employer organization, and grown into a comprehensive human resource outsourcing and administration.
