REMOTE Back End Developer (Java) - US Citizen only
Position Description: We are seeking a Back End Java Software Developer to work with a team in the development and sustainment of a real-time data processing, analysis, and visualization application.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Ā Develop web applications leveraging standard Java frameworks such as JDBC and JMS
Ā Utilize web and API services using technologies such as JSON/REST or XML/SOAP
Ā Responsible for the development of new Unit Tests (JUnit)
Ā Responsible for building new web pages, interfaces, and data exchanges
Ā Collaboration with a decentralized team is essential
The desired qualifications for this position include:
Ā BSc/Ba in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline
Ā Must have the ability to get a DoD secret clearance (US citizenship is required)
Ā Java Developer- 3+ years
Ā Experienced with Spring Framework and/or Spring Boot
Ā Experience with Postgres or other SQL Databases
Ā Developing Web Services and REST Services
Ā Familiar with standard source code management tools (Gitlab)
Ā Understanding and experience in Unit Test development and sustainment
Ā Familiar with web-based technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
