[Remote] Azure Virtual Desktop Consultant - Remote
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Strategic Systems Inc is looking for an experienced Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) Consultant to support enterprise VDI deployments and Azure-based virtual desktop environments. The role involves deploying and configuring Azure Virtual Desktop host pools, managing images, and providing support for complex AVD issues.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Deploy and configure Azure Virtual Desktop host pools, application groups, and workspaces
ā¢ Manage golden images using Azure Image Builder or Packer
ā¢ Implement and troubleshoot FSLogix profile containers
ā¢ Support MSIX App Attach for application delivery
ā¢ Work with Azure Networking (VNets, NSGs), Entra ID, and Group Policy
ā¢ Automate deployments using ARM/Bicep templates
ā¢ Provide Tier 2/3 support for complex AVD issues
Skills
ā¢ 4+ years of IT experience
ā¢ Hands-on experience with Azure Virtual Desktop or VDI platforms (Citrix/VMware)
ā¢ Experience with FSLogix, Intune/Endpoint Manager, and Azure networking
ā¢ AZ-140 certification preferred
