[Remote] Azure data engineer

The role involves optimizing data feeds, developing automated pipelines, and ensuring data quality and governance within the MDL community.ResponsibilitiesAssess existing MDL data tables and create a structured inventoryConduct data feed reviews with the MDL communityImprove data structures, performance, and documentationSupport the identification of relevant Marketing and non-Marketing data productsImplement and test new data feeds to ensure quality and consistencyAlign with data stakeholders and support enablementReplace manual uploads with automated pipelinesDevelop concepts and PoCs for data quality checks (top 20 tables)Execute in-depth quality reviews and implement corrective actionsDocument lineage, transformations, and table-level metadataSet up data dictionaries, PII-handling concepts, and taxonomy standardsContribute to ER model development and artifact standardizationCoordinate across the MDL communitySupport access requests, platform education, and use-case repository updatesSkillsStrong data engineering background (3-5 years)Proficiency with Azure data lake, SQL, Databricks, and modern data pipelinesExperience with data lineage, metadata, documentation, and data quality frameworksAbility to structure complex datasets and communicate with cross-functional teamsExperience with SAP Data Lake, SAP Datasphere, BDC, or CollibraBackground in Marketing data or large-scale data lake optimizationCompany OverviewDiverse Lynx is a WBENC- and NMSDC-certified partner, helping organizations turn diversity goals into measurable impact through staffing and contingent workforce solutions.
