[Remote] Azure Cloud Consultant

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. VeeAR Projects Inc. is seeking an Azure Cloud Consultant with advanced knowledge in Azure, Nutanix, M365, and AVD. The role involves implementing cloud architecture, managing support functions, and collaborating with team members to deliver technical solutions.ResponsibilitiesAdvanced knowledge of security principles and configurations for Azure, Nutanix, M365 and AVDAdvanced knowledge of Virtualization platforms, in particular VMware, Nutanix and AVDAdvanced knowledge of Cloud architecture, in particular Azure and AWSAdvanced knowledge of M365 architecture including PurviewAdvanced knowledge of M365 PurviewAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Defender/SentinelSolid knowledge of Azure networking design principlesAt least 2 years technical implementation experience with storage technologies (SAN, FCP/ISCSI and NAS)Thorough understanding of networking technologies, including administration of enterprise routers, switches, firewalls and load-balancers (OSI layers 4-7)Understanding of network security methodologies as a whole, including but not limited to: ACLs, Stateful firewalls, VPNs (tunneling, IPsec, PPTP, etc.)Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze information, identify and formulate solutions to problemsProvide more in-depth analysis with a high-level view of goals and end deliverablesComplete work within a reasonable time frame under the supervision of a manager or team leadPlan and manage all aspects of the support functionExtensive knowledge of and proven experience with data processing systems, and methods of developing, testing, and moving solutions to implementationStrong knowledge of project management practices and ability to document processes and procedures as neededWork collaboratively with other support team members and independently on assigned tasks and deliverables with minimum supervisionCommunicate effectively with users at all levels, from data entry technicians up to senior management, verbally and in writingSelf-motivated, working closely and actively communicating with team members to accomplish time critical tasks and deliverablesAsk questions and share information gained with other support team members, recording, and documenting this knowledgeElicit and gather user requirements and/or problem
