[Remote] Avaya and Cisco Voice Administrator

The role focuses on configuring, maintaining, and supporting Avaya and Cisco voice solutions to ensure reliable communication services across the organization.ResponsibilitiesConfigure, install, and support Avaya Aura solutions, including Communication Manager (CM), System Manager, and Session ManagerPerform MAC (Move, Add, Change) requests for telephony devices, extensions, and user configurationsAdminister and maintain the Avaya Messaging voicemail system, including setup, troubleshooting, and user supportSupport and maintain Cisco voice environments, including Cisco Call Manager (CUCM) and Cisco Unity voicemail systemsTroubleshoot telephony issues across Avaya and Cisco platforms, including SIP, VoIP, call routing, and voicemail integrationMonitor system performance, perform diagnostics, and resolve voice‑related incidents in a timely mannerCollaborate with networking, security, and systems teams to ensure optimal integration and performance of voice applicationsDocument system configurations, changes, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for internal knowledge sharingAssist with software upgrades, patches, migrations, and other improvement initiatives for both Avaya and Cisco systemsProvide end‑user support for phone devices, softphones, voicemail access, and telephony featuresSkillsU.S. Citizenship due to compliance with ITAR regulationsHands-on experience with Avaya Aura platforms (Communication Manager, System Manager, Session Manager)Strong understanding of Cisco Call Manager (CUCM) and Cisco Unity voicemail administrationWorking knowledge of VoIP, SIP protocols, call routing, dial plans, and general telephony infrastructureStrong troubleshooting skills for voice quality issues, device provisioning, and cross-platform integrationsExperience managing voicemail systems such as Avaya Messaging and Cisco UnityExcellent communication, documentation, and organizational skillsAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional IT teamsStrong customer service mindset with the ability to support users at all technical levelsCandidates located in the Boston, MA areaBenefitsFull-time hires are eligible to participate in the DXC benefit program.DXC offers a comprehensive, flexible, and competitive benefits program which includes, but is not limited to, health, dental, and vision insurance coverage; employee wellness; life and disability insurance; a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, paid time off.Our work model prioritizes in-person collaboration while offering flexibility to support wellbeing, productivity, individual work styles, and life circumstances.Company OverviewDXC Technology is an IT and consulting services company that offers insurance software, security, and application development services.
