[Remote] Automation Tester (Remote Opportunity)

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. VetsEZ is seeking an Automation Tester for a remote position to support a federal government project for the Department of Veterans Affairs. The role involves designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts for Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions, ensuring high-quality business applications through collaboration with various teams. Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for Microsoft Dynamics 365 applications using appropriate automation frameworks and tools. • Create and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test data for functional, regression, integration, and performance testing. • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and rapid feedback. • Identify, document, and track defects while collaborating with development teams to ensure timely resolution. • Translate business processes into test scenarios by collaborating with business analysts and stakeholders. • Generate and communicate test results, coverage metrics, and quality status reports. • Promote QA best practices, maintain test documentation, and ensure compliance with organizational standards. • Perform manual testing as needed to supplement automation efforts or validate complex scenarios. • Contribute to team objectives and take on additional responsibilities as needed. Skills • 5+ years of experience in test automation, preferably with Microsoft Dynamics 365 products. • Proficiency with test automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, EasyRepro, or RSAT. • Hands-on experience with scripting languages such as C#, JavaScript, or PowerShell for test automation. • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 architecture, modules, and business processes. • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps or Jenkins. • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills. • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics products at the Department of Veterans Affairs. • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate). • Knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI. • Microsoft Dynamics 365 or QA certifications. • Experience with performance and load testing tools. • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. • Prior experience collaborating with VA stakeholders to optimize CRM workflows and enhance service delivery. • Demonstrated experience implementing or supporting CRM systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics) within a federal agency environment. • Proven knowledge of Department of Veterans Affairs operations, policies, and client-facing technology solutions. Education Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
