[Remote] Automation Tester (Remote Opportunity)

VetsEZ is seeking an Automation Tester for a remote position to support a federal government project for the Department of Veterans Affairs. The role involves designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts for Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions, ensuring high-quality business applications through collaboration with various teams. Responsibilities β’ Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for Microsoft Dynamics 365 applications using appropriate automation frameworks and tools. β’ Create and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test data for functional, regression, integration, and performance testing. β’ Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and rapid feedback. β’ Identify, document, and track defects while collaborating with development teams to ensure timely resolution. β’ Translate business processes into test scenarios by collaborating with business analysts and stakeholders. β’ Generate and communicate test results, coverage metrics, and quality status reports. β’ Promote QA best practices, maintain test documentation, and ensure compliance with organizational standards. β’ Perform manual testing as needed to supplement automation efforts or validate complex scenarios. β’ Contribute to team objectives and take on additional responsibilities as needed. Skills β’ 5+ years of experience in test automation, preferably with Microsoft Dynamics 365 products. β’ Proficiency with test automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, EasyRepro, or RSAT. β’ Hands-on experience with scripting languages such as C#, JavaScript, or PowerShell for test automation. β’ Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 architecture, modules, and business processes. β’ Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps or Jenkins. β’ Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills. β’ Experience with Microsoft Dynamics products at the Department of Veterans Affairs. β’ Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate). β’ Knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI. β’ Microsoft Dynamics 365 or QA certifications. β’ Experience with performance and load testing tools. β’ Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. β’ Prior experience collaborating with VA stakeholders to optimize CRM workflows and enhance service delivery. β’ Demonstrated experience implementing or supporting CRM systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics) within a federal agency environment. β’ Proven knowledge of Department of Veterans Affairs operations, policies, and client-facing technology solutions.
