Remote Automation Tester
Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an Automation Tester to join a large government contractor supporting a mission-critical cloud modernization program. The Automation Tester will work closely with development and DevOps teams to ensure successful delivery of automated testing solutions. This position is fully remote. Responsibilities of the Automation Tester include: • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java, Selenium WebDriver, and Serenity BDD • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI) to support continuous delivery • Collaborate with developers and QA teams to identify defects and validate fixes • Execute functional, regression, integration, and API testing across multiple environments • Document test cases, results, and provide clear reporting to stakeholders Required Qualifications for the Automation Tester: • 3+ years of experience in test automation • Strong hands-on experience with Java and Selenium WebDriver • Familiarity with BDD frameworks (Serenity BDD preferred) • Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) • U.S. Citizenship (required for Public Trust clearance) Compensation for the Automation Tester includes: • Salary: $140,000 - $170,000 • Full Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, Paid Time Off, and Federal Holidays This job opens for applications on 12/3/2025.
