[Remote] Auto Sales Manager

They are seeking an Auto Sales Manager to develop and maintain a direct auto installment portfolio, driving loan sales and customer acquisition while building strong customer relationships.ResponsibilitiesDevelop new business by visiting dealers and promoting the company’s direct auto finance programsDevelop and execute local marketing and outreach strategies to attract new customersDrive loan product sales by proactively engaging with customers and identifying financial solutions that fit their needs, determining what is necessary to win new business by offering competitive yet profitable plansFollow up with existing dealers by verifying they are serviced properly and institutes changes where necessaryWork with SVP of Central Operations to determine profitability of continued relationships, make adjustments in business as required, and develop programs for dealers through market analysisProvide assistance to the branches with DARP-related issues as neededBuild and maintain long-term customer relationships to drive repeat business and referralsMaintain a deep understanding of company products and services to recommend the best options for each customerMaintain strong working relationships with headquarters retail groups, field management, and branch officesComplete and provide timely reports to management as requestedMay perform additional functions depending on market demand and staffing in order to provide consistent quality customer serviceSkillsMinimum 2 years of experience in sales, auto industry, consumer lending, or financial services, with proven, successful experience increasing sales across multiple locations or a broad territorySkilled in developing long-term customer relationships to drive repeat business and referralsStrong ability to influence purchasing decisions and present financial solutions that meet customer needsSelf-motivated with a growth-oriented mind-set, taking initiative to build and grow their own book of businessOperationally proficient and competent, reliable, and displays problem-solving abilitiesStrong time management skills, written and oral communications skills, decision-making skills, and a strong personal commitmentAdheres to company policies, cooperative, and shows industriousnessExperience in managing and nurturing customer relationships throughout the sales cycleAbility to travel up to 50%Bachelor's degree or completion of college courseworkExperience utilizing Salesforce, CRM platforms, and loan origination softwareBenefitsAll full time employees are provided with a generous benefits package in addition to their monetary compensation.Company OverviewMariner Finance is a consumer finance industry.
