Job Title: Audit Manager Location: Offices in Montgomery, Wetumpka, and Auburn - Remote opportunity Compensation: $100k - $130k based on experience Requirement: 5+ years of Public Accounting Experience - CPA license required Specialties: Construction, EBPs, Nonprofit, various Commercial industries Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Audit Manager to lead our team in overseeing and conducting audits of various clients. The primary objective of this role is to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial statements, as well as provide valuable insights and recommendations to improve internal controls and processes. Key Responsibilities • Plan and execute audits in accordance with professional standards and client requirements • Supervise and mentor a team of audit associates in completing audit fieldwork and reviewing work papers • Provide timely and accurate communication to clients regarding audit findings and recommendations for improvement • Develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand their business operations and provide exceptional client service • Perform technical research and keep up to date with industry developments and regulatory requirements Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field • CPA or equivalent certification • 5+ years of experience in construction audits, employee benefits plan (EBP) audits and/or senior audit associate experience • Strong knowledge of audit and accounting principles and practices • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills • Ability to lead and manage a team • Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word Benefits • Full Benefits (medical 100% paid, dental, vision, life insurance) • 401(k) with 3% match • PTO + 8 holidays: 2 weeks for Senior, 3 weeks for Manager • 6 weeks Maternity leave • 100% remote flexibility (open to Surrounding states of Alabama) Email Your Resume In Word To Looking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
