[Remote] Associate Specialist, Procurement -Data Center Operations

The Associate Specialist, Procurement – DC Operations will support procurement activities, ensuring timely sourcing of goods and services while maintaining compliance with policies and optimizing supplier relationships.ResponsibilitiesManage purchase requisitions and convert them into purchase orders in alignment with company policiesEnsure timely delivery of materials and services to support DC operationsMonitor order status and resolve discrepancies related to pricing, quantity, or deliveryResolve basic invoice queries and issuesAssist in supplier selection, evaluation, and onboarding for fit-out projectsLead and support contract negotiations to secure favorable terms and pricingMaintain relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectivenessAssist in supplier performance evaluations and support corrective actions when neededCoordinate with vendors for issue resolution and continuous improvement initiativesAnalyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunitiesPrepare procurement reports and dashboards for management reviewEnsure procurement systems and databases are kept accurate, up-to-date and ready for auditMaintain accurate supplier records, pricing information and procurement data within internal systemsEnsure adherence to procurement policies, SOX compliance, and audit requirementsMaintain accurate records of procurement transactions and contractsWork closely with DC operations, finance, and inventory teams to align procurement activities with operational needsProvide timely updates and reporting to stakeholders on procurement status and KPIsPrepare reports on procurement metrics, supplier performance, and cost trendsUtilize ERP systems and procurement tools for data accuracy and process efficiencyMonitoring shared inboxes and responding to queriesSkillsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or related field3-5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain, preferably in construction, data center fit-out projects, or facilities / DC Operations procurementUnderstanding of DC Operations and fit-out procurement processes and supply chain principlesProficiency in ERP systems (SAP Ariba, Oracle Procurement) and procurement toolsStrong analytical and negotiation skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsFamiliarity with strategic sourcing, vendor evaluation, contract negotiations and managementCertification such as Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM)BenefitsA monthly stipend is provided to cover expenses associated with working remotely and use of a personal mobile device.All regular full-time employees are eligible for an annual bonus; payout is dependent upon individual and company performance.Employees receive paid time-off, medical, dental, and vision benefits, life and supplemental insurance, short-term and long-term disability, flexible spending account, and 401k retirement plan to create a rich Total Rewards package.Company OverviewNTT Global Data Centers is a division of NTT DATA.
