[Remote] Associate Software Engineer

The Associate Software Engineer will work on developing and supporting analytics systems, collaborating with various stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Work within the team developing and supporting analytics systems with patent pending technology and applications to support our in-house audit partners Design and implement new solutions Learn new technologies and apply them to the problem space Peer review software changes by other developers Provide technical guidance to the team on development Document the specifications, design, features, and operation of applications prior to production rollout Work collaboratively with business partners to define and ensure the completeness and accuracy of system/technical requirements Achieve organizational and individual goals as identified in performance reviews and goal setting exercises Complete all special projects and other duties as assigned Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation Skills Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Information Systems or related field or equivalent work experience 0-1 year of industry experience Strong organizational, analytical and communication skills Foundational understanding of software engineering principles, design principles, performance, and applications that scale Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to execute project deliverables in a dynamic, fast-paced environment within estimated timelines Experience with SQL query optimization, stored procedures, and database triggers 0-1 years' experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash 0-1 years' experience with modern programming languages: TypeScript, Java, C#, or .NET Framework 0-1 years' experience with cloud platforms, preferably Amazon Web Services (AWS) 0-1 years' experience with relational databases: Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL Working knowledge of Agile methodologies, SAFe framework experience preferred Experience analyzing and working with large datasets Benefits Medical Dental Vision Disability Life insurance coverage 401(k) savings plans Paid family leave 9 paid holidays per year 17-27 days of Paid Time Off (PTO) per year, depending on specific level and length of service with Cotiviti.
