The Associate Sales Manager plays a pivotal role in customer engagement, focusing on nurturing client relationships and driving new sales opportunities while ensuring outstanding customer experiences.ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary point of contact for inbound and outbound customer communications via phone, email, chat, and other digital platformsBuild and nurture long-term relationships with clients, ensuring a positive customer journey from initial inquiry through post-sale supportConduct regular follow-up activities to maintain engagement and uncover emerging customer needsResolve customer inquiries, complaints, and issues swiftly, turning challenges into opportunities to enhance satisfaction and loyaltyIdentify and pursue new sales opportunities by understanding customer requirements and promoting suitable products or servicesCollaborate closely with the field sales team to coordinate strategies and share market intelligenceDevelop and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals tailored to specific customer profilesUtilize CRM systems to document interactions, manage leads, and track progress through the sales funnelConsistently achieve or exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs)Monitor and report on sales metrics, customer feedback, and market trends to inform business decisions and continuous improvement initiativesMaintain up-to-date and accurate records in all relevant systems and documentation platformsProvide expert guidance on product features, pricing, and availability to assist customers in making informed purchasing decisionsDeliver training and onboarding support to new customers, ensuring a smooth transition and high adoption ratesGather and relay customer feedback to the product and marketing teams for ongoing enhancement of offeringsStay current on industry trends, product developments, and competitive landscape to provide relevant and timely advice to customersParticipate in ongoing training, workshops, and professional development activities to sharpen sales and customer care skillsActively contribute to the refinement of sales processes and customer care best practices within the organizationSkillsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred but not always required)Proven experience in inside sales, customer care, or sales operations—ideally within a business-to-business (B2B) or business-to-consumer (B2C) environmentStrong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with diverse stakeholdersProficient with CRM systems (such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Microsoft Dynamics) and other sales enablement toolsDemonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and meet deadlines with minimal supervisionExcellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous improvementSolid organizational and time management abilitiesPositive attitude, adaptability, and eagerness to contribute to a collaborative team environmentBenefitsA comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, 401(k), disability, life insurance, employee stock purchase plan, paid time off and voluntary benefits.Company OverviewTE Connectivity provides and markets engineered electronic components, network solutions, and specialty products.
