In this role, you will support the pre-sales lifecycle, develop technical expertise, and collaborate with experienced Sales Engineers to deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations to prospective customers.ResponsibilitiesDeliver compelling technical presentations and product demonstrations to prospective customers, growing into full ownership of customer-facing engagementsSupport and eventually lead Proof-of-Concept/Value (POC/V) engagements for Infoblox solutionsLead customer discovery to identify requirements and business challenges, mapping them to Infoblox's offerings using the Value Framework Selling MethodologyLeverage defined pre-sales tools and processes to support Sales Engineers in field engagementsSupport and own responses to RFPs, RFIs, and technical documentation requests as expertise developsDevelop and maintain deep knowledge of Infoblox's DDI, DNS Security, and cloud networking solutionsApply AI-enabled tools and platforms — including internal Copilot-style solutions — to accelerate technical discovery, tailor demos and POCs, analyze customer environments, and articulate the value of Infoblox's AI-driven networking and security capabilitiesContribute to technical documentation, solution diagrams, and sales collateralEnable partner technical sales teams on Infoblox solutions and positioningSkillsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field — or equivalent hands-on experience2+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role within a technology organizationGenuine interest in networking, cybersecurity, and/or cloud technologies, paired with strong intellectual curiosityStrong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiencesPractical AI fluency — confident use of AI-assisted tools for technical analysis, demo preparation, solution design, and customer conversations, with understanding of AI capabilities and limitations in enterprise networking and security contextsBasic understanding of networking fundamentals including DNS, DHCP, and IP address management (DDI)Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, customer-focused sales engineering environmentComfort navigating a geographically large, high-velocity pipeline across multiple verticals and time zones spanning North America and Latin AmericaFamiliarity with Infoblox products or comparable DDI/DNS Security technologiesHands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google CloudScripting or automation experience (Python, Bash, Ansible, or similar)Exposure to cybersecurity concepts — Zero Trust, threat intelligence, DNS-based securityExperience working with or supporting channel partners and resellersPrior SDR, BDR, or inside sales experience in a B2B technology environmentFamiliarity with sales tools such as Salesforce, Outreach, Gong, or similar CRM/sales engagement platformsIndustry certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Security+, AWS Cloud Practitioner, or equivalentBenefitsComprehensive health coverageGenerous PTOFlexible work optionsLearning opportunitiesCareer-mobility programsLeadership workshopsSixteen paid volunteer hours each yearGlobal employee resource groups"No Jerks" policy that keeps collaboration healthyModern offices with EV chargingHealthy snacks (and the occasional cupcake)Hackathons, game nights, and culture celebrationsCharitable Giving Program supported by Company MatchWe practice pay transparency and reward performanceOffers reflect role location, internal equity, experience, skills, education, and certificationsCompany OverviewInfoblox develops network identity solutions enabling businesses to automate network control functions to reduce costs and boost security.
