Warner Pacific Insurance Services is seeking an Associate Rating Analyst to generate employee benefit quotes for various products including medical and ancillary services. This role involves collaborating with clients, brokers, and internal teams to ensure accurate and competitive quotes while providing exceptional customer service.ResponsibilitiesEfficiently manage a high volume of quote requests, balancing speed and accuracy to maintain productivity that meets or exceeds departmental standardsCollect and review detailed client information, such as employee census data, group information, plan preferences, and coverage requirementsGenerate competitive quotes for employee benefits products, including health, dental, vision, and other ancillary products, within service level, using various quoting engines/platformsCustomize benefits plans to align with client needs, ensuring appropriate solutions are providedGenerate quotes for multiple states using carrier quoting platforms, as neededUtilize CRM platforms like Salesforce and other internal systems to track and provide visibility into the status of pending itemsCommunicate with clients, brokers, and sales representatives to gather necessary information and answer inquiries regarding available benefits plans and pricingProvide clear explanations of benefits plan structures, premium costs, and coverage options to ensure understandingAssist brokers who have questions while running their own quotes on the Warner Pacific quoting engineWork with the sales team, brokers, and account managers to provide support during the proposal processProvide team support and desk coverage as needed to ensure smooth operations during absences or high-demand periodsAssist other departments as needed to support organizational goalsWork overtime as needed, particularly during peak periods, to meet turnaround time goals and support broker timelinesPerform related responsibilities and additional tasks as needed to support team and business operationsStay updated on trends in employee benefits offerings, plan designs, and the competitive landscape to provide the best possible quotes and recommendationsContinuously monitor industry regulations (i.e., carrier 411) and compliance standards to maintain up-to-date knowledge of the employee benefits marketRespond promptly to customer inquiries, within service level, delivering exceptional service throughout the quoting processPromptly acknowledge urgent requests upon receipt to ensure timely response and actionRespond to client inquiries, concerns, or requests for adjustments related to their benefits packages, and work to resolve any issues promptly and effectivelyTreat all employees and internal/external customers with respect and support a positive and professional work environmentAdhere to company policies, including those related to punctuality, attendance, workplace conduct and professionalismAdapt to change with a positive mindset and contribute to a supportive team environmentDemonstrate strong judgment, integrity, and accountability in all aspects of job performanceComplete assignments on time and proactively seek additional responsibilities when possibleSkillsHigh school diploma or equivalentFamiliarity with employee benefits products such as group health, dental, vision, and other ancillary productsProficient in using Microsoft Office suite, spreadsheets (intermediate skills)Excellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong customer service skillsSolid analytical skills and attention to detailAbility to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work independently as well as part of a teamDemonstrate respect and professionalism in all internal and external interactionsBenefitsMerit increasesPaid holidaysPaid Time OffMedicalDentalVisionShort- and long-term disability benefits401(k) + matchLife insuranceCompany OverviewWarner Pacific was founded as a family business over 40 years ago and has since expanded to serve brokers all across our nation.
