[Remote] Associate Project Manager

The Associate Project Manager oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of VMware Cloud Foundation projects, ensuring predictable delivery of deployments and modernization initiatives while maintaining strong customer relationships.ResponsibilitiesLead end‑to‑end project management for VCF deployments, expansions, lifecycle upgrades, and cloud transformation initiativesDevelop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, RAID logs, communication plans, and stakeholder mapsFacilitate project kickoff sessions, discovery workshops, and recurring status meetings with internal and customer teamsEnsure project scope, timelines, and deliverables are clearly defined, documented, and communicatedCoordinate engineering, design teams, PMO, procurement, and customer resources to ensure smooth executionPartner closely with VCF Principal Engineers and solution designers to translate technical requirements into actionable delivery plansManage hardware logistics, SDDC Manager milestones, and environment readiness activitiesIdentify, track, and mitigate risks across technical, operational, and organizational dimensionsDrive structured change control processes for scope adjustments, timeline impacts, and resource shiftsProvide clear, concise, and timely status updates, executive summaries, and project documentationMaintain strong customer relationships and ensure high satisfaction throughout the engagement lifecycleEnsure all deliverables meet internal quality standards and align with VMware/Broadcom best practicesContinuously evaluate and improve delivery processes, templates, and methodologiesSkills4+ years of project management experience in IT consulting, systems integration, or enterprise infrastructure2+ years managing technical projects involving virtualization, cloud, networking, or datacenter technologiesFamiliarity with VMware technologies (vSphere, vSAN, NSX) and general understanding of VMware Cloud Foundation conceptsProven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects at different stages of the lifecycleExcellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder‑management skillsStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage complex dependencies and cross‑team coordinationPMP certification (or in progress)BenefitsMedical InsuranceDental InsuranceVision Insurance401(k) retirement plan with company match (annual dollar cap applied)Flexible time off plan15 paid holidaysSick leave (amount varies by state requirements and is at least the minimum required by any state)Short-term and long-term disabilityLife insurancePaid parental leaveCompany OverviewThe Redesign Group is a global technology and cybersecurity consulting firm leveraging design thinking, interdependent subject matter expertise, and emerging technology solutions to help organizations achieve meaningful transformation.
