[Remote] Associate Principal Consultant - Pre-sales Consultant (Product Background)

They are seeking a Senior Solution Consultant dedicated to designing, implementing, and optimizing digital and operational business solutions for US public-sector organizations. The role involves engaging with government agencies to identify challenges and develop tailored solutions that enhance public value and efficiency.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Engage directly with agency leaders and stakeholders to identify challenges in government service delivery, compliance, regulation, and operational efficiency
ā¢ Analyze business processes, regulatory requirements, and constituent needs unique to targeted federal, state, and local government agencies
ā¢ Identify solutions that address top public sector pain points, including digital transformation, legacy system modernization, government security mandates, compliance with procurement laws, and citizen service improvement
ā¢ Lead discovery sessions with government agencies to conduct needs assessment and gap analyses
ā¢ Develop and deliver tailored solution proposals that demonstrate measurable improvements in government performance, transparency, and cost-effectiveness
ā¢ Extract requirements from RFP and RFI to help team build solution architectures
ā¢ Understanding of regulatory compliance across varied domains
ā¢ Build trust-based relationships with government clients as a trusted advisor and thought leader
ā¢ Contribute to knowledge-sharing within public sector communities
ā¢ Participate in speaking engagements, workshops, and advisory panels advancing government digital transformation and public value
Skills
ā¢ Bachelors in engineering
ā¢ 8 + years of solution consulting, or pre-sales engineering, with a background in business analysis or PO
ā¢ Experience solving business-critical government challenges related to digital transformation, security, process efficiency, and regulatory compliance
ā¢ Strong skills in stakeholder engagement, requirements analysis, solution architecture, and implementation oversight
ā¢ Excellent communication, public speaking, and team collaboration skills
ā¢ MBA
ā¢ Knowledge of public sector procurement, compliance requirements, and solution delivery models for agencies at federal, state, and local levels
