As an Associate Paralegal, Privacy, you will support the global data privacy program by managing complex data subject requests and ensuring compliance with privacy laws while collaborating with various teams. Responsibilities Collaborate with support engineers to develop consistent responses to non-standard data subject requests under GDPR and other privacy regulations. Manage and coordinate responses to government and law enforcement data requests, ensuring timely and compliant production of required information. Review vendor data processing agreements to identify discrepancies and ensure alignment with GitLab’s privacy playbook and compliance standards. Support privacy compliance by following established playbooks and procedures, ensuring consistent application across tasks. Monitor changes in privacy laws and regulations to adapt processes and maintain compliance. Work closely with cross-functional teams including Legal, Security, and Engineering to integrate privacy requirements into business operations. Maintain detailed records of privacy-related activities and support audits or assessments as needed.
