[Remote] Associate – Interior Design

The Associate – Interior Design will collaborate with teams to design K–12 layouts that enhance student engagement and wellness. Responsibilities • Design and deliver creative layouts using Revit to visualize environments that energize K–12 schools. • Collaborate with Education Partnership leaders to translate district needs into spatial strategies and physical specifications. • Support the production of 2D space plans, 3D visualizations, finish boards, and digital client presentations. • Source furniture, fixtures, finishes, and color palettes aligned with AmTab’s brand and school district requirements. • Present and revise design proposals in collaboration with school leaders and AmTab sales team members. • Coordinate closely with in-house manufacturing and engineering teams to ensure feasibility of designs. • Stay current with K–12 learning trends, ADA guidelines, and educational wellness design principles. • Participate in cross-functional team meetings and project planning from concept through installation. Skills • 1–3 years of interior design experience in commercial, educational, or public-use spaces. • Proficiency in Revit is required; additional skills in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite are strongly preferred. • Strong verbal, written, and visual communication skills. • Must be detail-oriented and organized with the ability to manage multiple projects. • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, cross-functional team. • Experience with furniture specification is a plus. • Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and ADA compliance is preferred. • Passion for improving education through design.
