[Remote] Associate Director, Program Management

The Associate Director, Program Management will drive integrated planning and maintain program timelines while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with corporate priorities and effective execution of development activities.ResponsibilitiesOwn and maintain integrated cross-functional program plans, dashboards, and timelines, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy, development objectives, key milestones, and value inflection pointsPrepare high-quality executive-level presentations, governance materials, program updates, and board-facing content in collaboration with the Asset Lead and cross-functional stakeholdersPartner with the Asset Lead and study leads to plan and facilitate effective development team meetings, manage agendas, document decisions and action items, and ensure follow-through across time zonesSupport scenario planning and tradeoff discussions by organizing inputs, clarifying assumptions, and documenting decisionsBuild effective cross-functional relationships and work collaboratively to identify, escalate, and resolve bottlenecks that may impact timeline, scope, or executionMonitor project progress, track milestones, and maintain visibility to risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation plans to support timely escalation and alignment with company goalsLeverage Smartsheet and other project management tools to build, maintain, and optimize program timelines, dashboards, action trackers, and reporting mechanisms that support cross-functional visibility and accountabilitySupport strong program governance through transparent reporting, clear accountability, escalation pathways, and timely documentation of decisions and follow-up actionsMaintain cross-functional risk, issue, dependency, and decision logs, ensuring timely follow-up, mitigation planning, and escalation where neededSupport effective execution in a highly outsourced development model by coordinating with CROs, vendors, consultants, and internal functional stakeholders to track deliverables, surface issues, and ensure timely escalation and resolutionCommunicate clearly and effectively with scientific, clinical, operational, and executive stakeholders, adapting level of detail and messaging to the audienceSkills6+ years of relevant experience in biotech, pharmaceuticals, or life sciences, including 3+ years of direct project or program management experienceStrong understanding of biotech development processesExperience managing projects across international teams, particularly in the UK and USProficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Smartsheet, MS Project)Experience working in an outsourced biotech operating model, including coordination with CROs, external vendors, consultants, and cross-functional internal teamsExceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across geographically diverse teamsDemonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with competing prioritiesBachelor's degree in a scientific, engineering, or business-related field; advanced degree is a plusExperience working at a fast-paced biotech company preferredBenefitsMedical, Dental, and Vision PlansLife and Disability InsuranceHealth Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA)Equity CompensationPerformanceâBased Bonus Program401(k) Plan with Company MatchPaid Time Off and Company HolidaysPaid Parental LeaveCompany OverviewZura Bio is a multi-asset clinical-stage biotechnology company focused on developing novel medicines for immune and inflammatory disorders.
