[Remote] Associate Director, Commercial Infrastructure & Operations

This role will enhance the commercial technology ecosystem and ensure operational excellence across various commercial data platforms, acting as a liaison between multiple teams to support data governance and quality.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain operational support processes, documentation, SOPs, data dictionaries, and process maps to improve platform sustainability and supportabilityTranslate business requirements into scalable technology solutions and support user training, documentation, and adoption effortsOversee the provisioning and delivery of high-quality commercial data across Account Planning, CRM, Customer Master, Business Intelligence, and Commercial Analytics platforms, ensuring data consistency, governance, and alignment with business requirementsPartner with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements, workflow automation, and operational efficienciesMonitor operational metrics, data quality indicators, and platform usage to support continuous improvement initiativesSupport customer master data governance processes and help maintain high-quality customer, account, territory, and reference data across commercial platformsCoordinate customer matching, deduplication, affiliation management, and hierarchy maintenance activities to support business operationsManage customer data quality monitoring, issue resolution, and remediation activities in partnership with business and data stewardship teamsSupport the maintenance of customer communication preferences, consent management processes, and related compliance requirementsPartner with commercial teams and external data providers to facilitate onboarding, enrichment, and maintenance of customer and reference data assetsContribute to customer data governance initiatives and continuous improvement efforts aimed at improving data quality and usabilityManage day-to-day operations, enhancements, and support activities for commercial technology platforms including Business Insights, Account Planning, Customer Master Data, CRM, and related data solutionsCoordinate platform releases, upgrades, enhancements, and defect resolution activitiesSupport commercial product launches and business initiatives by ensuring technology readiness and data availabilityConduct impact assessments and coordinate cross-functional reviews for system changes, integrations, and new data sourcesPartner with business and technology stakeholders to prioritize enhancements and improve platform capabilitiesPartner with Data Engineering and Enterprise Architecture teams to support data integration and data provisioning initiatives across commercial systemsCoordinate integration activities between CRM, Customer Master, Marketing, Analytics, and Enterprise Data Warehouse platformsSupport the development and maintenance of semantic layers, reporting datasets, and business intelligence solutionsCollaborate with Analytics and AI teams to improve data quality and support advanced reporting and analytical use casesMonitor data pipelines and integrations to ensure reliable and timely data deliveryImplement automated validation rules, matching logic, and automated data hygiene scripts to eliminate duplicate entries and maintain database integrityCoordinate delivery activities across offshore development teams, managed service providers, and technology vendorsManage project execution, testing, deployments, and production support activities across internal and external teamsMonitor vendor performance against established service levels and support continuous improvement initiativesFacilitate issue resolution, root cause analysis, and operational reviews for commercial systems and data platformsSupport release planning, environment management, documentation, and knowledge transfer activitiesSkillsBachelor's in Computer Science, or a related fieldBachelors Degree with 10+ years of experience / Masters in Computer Science or related field with 7+ years of experience5+ years of Pharmaceutical industry Commercial operations or related experience building Enterprise Data Management platformsExperience in implementing & managing Master Data Management solutions is a mustExperience in working with Cloud based platforms and technology solutions is a must (AWS Redshift, EC2, Databricks, Snowflake, Reltio etc)Experience with Specialty Pharmacy data, Specialty Distributor data, Patient Hub data, VA data, CRM & Claims is a mustExcellent written / verbal communication skills and presentation and project management skillsAbility to coordinate needs assessments across the commercial & other business organizations, and an ability to deliver a comprehensive solution to those needsDemonstrated ability to work well within a matrixed environment, and an ability to build solid relationships / make connections across the organizationExceptional analytical and problem-solving skills and solid business acumen with the ability to manage and provision large amounts of data to enable business analysis with high level of performance and trustMust be able to identify operational weakness and implement corrective action / planProven ability to grow and develop othersStrong collaboration skills with stakeholders, and cross-functional teamsExperience leading
