The role involves identifying client needs, managing the sales cycle, and collaborating with various teams to deliver tailored solutions to clients.ResponsibilitiesProspect, qualify, and convert new accounts within assigned territory through outbound outreach, industry networking, and inbound lead follow-upLead the full sales cycle from initial outreach through proposal, negotiation, and close, ensuring alignment between client requirements and Myonex capabilitiesCreate compelling, client-specific presentations and proposals that articulate the Myonex value proposition that accomplishes the client’s goalsFacilitate and lead site visits for prospective clients: set the agenda, coordinate internal subject matter experts, and drive post-visit follow-up to close or advance the opportunityOwn and deepen relationships with assigned accounts, serving as the primary commercial point of contact and ensuring high client satisfaction across active engagementsIdentify cross-sell and upsell opportunities across Myonex’s service portfolio, expanding wallet share within existing accountsConduct regular business reviews and touchpoints with key accounts per established activity cadence expectationsMonitor account health and proactively address risks to retention, escalating issues to leadership when appropriatePartner closely with Operations, Regulatory, Packaging, and Client Services teams to ensure seamless handoffs and delivery excellence on won businessCollaborate with Marketing on campaign execution, content development, and lead generation initiatives relevant to assigned territoryAttend key trade shows & industry events to promote Myonex and network with potential customersFollow-up with customers during and after service is completed to build relationships. Manage customer relations well after sales have been completedManage RFI/RFP process. Satisfy customer requirements with proposals and follow up with key contacts as required, until final decision is madeKeep management informed of changes within the industry to ensure the company model is competitive in all aspects of the businessIdentify new areas of growth for Myonex and work with the management to develop appropriate processes to achieve growthMaintain a disciplined, up-to-date pipeline in Salesforce (CRM), ensuring all opportunities, activities, and account interactions are logged accurately and in real timeManage pipeline stages, forecasting, and close-date accuracy in accordance with Myonex’s sales process and reporting cadenceCollaborate with Marketing on campaign execution, content development, and lead generation initiatives relevant to assigned territoryTravel approximately 1-2 weeks per month, on average, including occasional international travelMaintain routine conference calls and meetings with key customersPerform competitive analysisEmbody the Myonex Core Values: Be a Great Team Player, Be Customer Focused, Learn & Grow and Find a WaySkillsBachelors degree or higher, preferably in Business or related field for the industryKnowledge of clinical trials, clinical trial packaging, supply chains required and global regulations required5-7 years demonstrated success in business development with at least 4 years in Clinical Packaging, CRO, or related Clinical Services IndustryExposure to competitive positioning against major clinical supply competitorsUnderstanding of GMP and other key global regulations. Strong knowledge of the clinical trial supply chain, including drug sourcing, comparator sourcing, packaging, and labelingExperience selling into mid-to-large pharma and biotech sponsors across North America and/or EuropeAbility to build rapport across diverse groups within Myonex and externally. Builds trust-based relationships and advocates for client needs internallyGood team player with ability to interact with others under short timelinesStrong sales/negotiation/presentation abilityUnderstanding of clinical supply chains and drug development proceduresGood understanding of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
