[Remote] Associate Consultant (Supply Chain)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. BioTalent is partnering with a leading global life sciences strategy consultancy to find high-calibre Consultants for their Supply Chain & Operations practice. The role involves working across the full supply chain lifecycle, advising senior stakeholders on strategic and operational challenges in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medtech sectors.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Support and lead workstreams across end-to-end supply chain engagements within life sciences
ā¢ Analyse complex challenges spanning: R&D and clinical supply chains
ā¢ Manufacturing and network strategy
ā¢ Sourcing and procurement optimisation
ā¢ Demand and supply planning
ā¢ Inventory strategy and cost optimisation
ā¢ Distribution and logistics models
ā¢ Supply chain resilience and risk management
ā¢ Translate data-driven insights into clear, actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders
ā¢ Develop business cases, target operating models, and implementation roadmaps
ā¢ Collaborate with cross-functional teams across R&D, manufacturing, commercial, and operations
ā¢ Contribute to internal knowledge building and thought leadership
Skills
ā¢ Experience in strategy or management consulting, with exposure to life sciences supply chain or operations
ā¢ Strong understanding of end-to-end pharma/biotech supply chain dynamics, from development through to commercial distribution
ā¢ Excellent analytical and structured problem-solving capabilities
ā¢ Ability to work in a fast-paced, client-facing environment and communicate complex concepts clearly
ā¢ A proactive, intellectually curious mindset and strong interest in life sciences strategy
