[Remote] Associate Attorney

Lawyers for Justice, P.C. is a growing law firm in the Los Angeles area, expanding into Colorado, specializing in plaintiff's side wage-and-hour class action litigation. They are seeking a highly-qualified Associate Attorney to join their team, focusing on complex civil litigation and class actions. Responsibilities Join the expanding team of a growing law firm in the Los Angeles area Focus on the prosecution of consumer and employment class and representative actions Work on wage-and-hour, unfair business practice, discrimination, and false advertising matters Handle a robust caseload in federal and state courts against regional, national, and Fortune 500 companies Gain experience in plaintiffs-side class action litigation Skills Candidates must be either (a) licensed to practice law in California or Colorado or (b) already licensed in another U.S. jurisdiction and pending admission to the California Bar or Colorado Bar The ideal candidate will be licensed to practice law in California or Colorado and have 1-3 years of experience in civil litigation, including experience with discovery in the civil litigation context, oral advocacy and appearing in Court, motion practice and taking/defending depositions Candidates must be able to travel on occasion Prior experience with class actions, complex litigation, and wage and hour litigation is a plus Benefits 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Company Overview Lawyers for Justice, PC is America’s Most Trusted Law Firm.
