This role involves developing training materials and eLearning content focused on Epic systems, ensuring that client staff can meet business objectives and deliver quality educational services.ResponsibilitiesClient's Instructional Design and eLearning Development team is responsible for developing the knowledge and skills of our workforce with a focus on Epic and its many integrationsThey ensure client staff can meet current and future business objectives and deliver quality educational services that meet our customers’ needs through online and hybrid content. They design courses, develop overall curriculums, produce eLearning, and create supporting education materialsThey work closely with teams across the organization – conducting needs analyses, developing learning objectives, writing, organizing, and editing content, and applying learning theory to produce customized education solutionsThe team uses skills of instructional design and multimedia development to help shape curricular content into coherent instructional modules that employ multimedia and a variety of interactive, web-based tools aimed at encouraging engagementThey work to solve complex content or delivery-related issues in collaboration with Epic analysis and client technical teamsInstructional Designers/eLearning Developers devise the educational interventions required, to close end user performance gapThey create training programs based on analysis and provide guidance in creating and evaluating the resultsClient’s Associate Instructional Designers/eLearning Developers play a key role in planning, designing, developing, and coordinating training materials, eLearning content, and coursesThey help create visually compelling, interactive, scenario-based courses that drive positive learning outcomes through engaging, role-specific contentAssociate Instructional Designers/eLearning Developers coordinate with team members, contribute to the course content and design, and ensure the courses meet the highest quality standards through thorough testingThe goal of Associate Instructional Designers/eLearning Developers is to positively objectivesDevelops knowledge check questions and realistic role-based scenarios that reflect the course objectives and contentAssist in the evaluation of learner performance before, during, and after learning experiencesAdjusts educational approach, course content/structure based on feedback receivedCoordinates training logistics (courses, classrooms, registrations, timeframes, etc.) in consistent with the overall training strategy and approachSkillsMinimum of 3-years relevant Epic experience preferredExperienced in learning design, training development and eLearningProven experience in instructional education, training, and customer service preferredPast success working independently as well as in a team situation while meeting aggressive deadlinesExperienced with web training/authoring tools and multimedia tools/playersDemonstrated high degree of collaboration and diplomacy as well as problem analysis and creative solutionsDemonstrated competence in designing and presenting Web Based coursesProven knowledge of adult learning methodsDemonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Products requiredBachelor's degree preferredDemonstrated knowledge of specific Epic
