They are seeking an Assistant Manager to shape brand storytelling and entertainment partnerships across various channels, ensuring strategic and creative alignment with GM's brand objectives.ResponsibilitiesLead development of strategy and content for initiatives that support GM Brand adjacencies, across owned and paid channels, including website, social, and related media touchpointsManage content planning, updates, approvals, and execution in partnership with internal teams and agency partners, helping ensure an effective and consistent brand experienceWrite and develop creative briefs that translate business goals and brand strategy into clear content directionProvide strategic, actionable feedback on creative, content, and internal partner deliverables to maintain brand integrity and improve overall effectivenessPartner with agencies and internal/external partners to support branded entertainment properties, product integration opportunities, and storytelling programs that align with GM and vehicle brand objectivesCoordinate cross-functional stakeholders to keep projects on schedule, align deliverables, and ensure smooth executionHelp identify relevant opportunities (for paid and product placement integrations) across entertainment, music, gaming, sports, and other audience passion points that can support vehicle brand activations and content programsTrack content and program performance, using analytics and reporting to inform optimization and share recommendations with stakeholders and leadershipMaintain tools, processes, and governance practices that support strong brand execution across digital channels and partner-led contentStay current on digital marketing, content, website, and entertainment trends, including new technologies that can improve workflows and creative outputSkillsBachelor's degree requiredAt least 5 years of experience in brand marketing, content development, brand partnerships, or related fieldsExperience managing agencies and reviewing work across various media channels, with a strong understanding of what makes content effectiveStrong writing and communication skills, including the ability to create briefs, provide feedback, and present recommendations clearly to stakeholdersFamiliarity with analytics and performance measurement across content and audience engagement programsExperience supporting branded entertainment, product integration, talent, creator, or partnership programsExperience working on automotive, mobility, technology, or lifestyle brandsInterest in emerging technologies, including AI applications that can improve content development and creative workflowsBenefitsBonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.Benefits: GM offers a variety of health and wellbeing benefit programs.Benefit options include medical, dental, vision, Health Savings Account, Flexible Spending Accounts, retirement savings plan, sickness and accident benefits, life insurance, paid vacation & holidays, tuition assistance programs, employee assistance program, GM vehicle discounts and more.This job may be eligible for relocation benefits.Company OverviewGeneral Motors is an automotive company that designs, produces, markets, and distributes vehicles and vehicle parts.
