The Assessment Scientist will oversee eCOA implementation, ensuring accurate translation of endpoint scales into digital platforms and managing the development of specifications and user acceptance testing (UAT). This role also includes managing scale licensing, rater training, and ensuring high-quality data collection across clinical sites.ResponsibilitiesLead scientific oversight of eCOA implementation, ensuring accurate translation of endpoint scales into digital platforms with full fidelity to protocol and scoring requirementsDrive development and review of eCOA specifications, partnering with vendors to deliver high-quality, fit-for-purpose system designOwn UAT strategy, including authoring and reviewing test scripts to validate endpoint logic, workflows, and data integrityLead end-to-end UAT execution, proactively identifying and resolving issues to ensure successful system delivery and study readinessLead global scale licensing and copyright strategy, ensuring compliant and efficient use of clinical outcome assessmentsEnsure accurate scale selection, version control, and implementation aligned with protocol-defined endpointsOversee translation strategy and vendor execution, ensuring high-quality, culturally appropriate instruments across regionsDrive consistency across source scales, translations, and eCOA/eCRF implementations to protect endpoint integrityDesign and deliver tailored rater training programs to ensure high-quality, standardized endpoint data collection across sitesDefine rater qualification standards and support selection of experienced, study-ready site personnelDevelop and deploy engaging training and certification programs to drive consistency in scale administration and scoringMonitor rater performance and lead targeted remediation to minimize variability and protect endpoint reliabilitySkillsGraduate (e.g., MA/MS) degree in psychology/behavioral sciences, or related field preferredKnowledge of psychiatric and neuropsychiatric assessments, including patient reported outcome measures.
